Step 1 – Your wishes as the starting point
Everything starts with a good conversation. We listen to how you live, what you need, and what you like.
Do you want space for books, art, or objects? A display cabinet for crockery or plenty of closed storage with doors and drawers? Perhaps you're looking for a balance between display and storage. Whatever your wishes, they always form the starting point of the design.
At New Grange, almost anything is possible – and it is precisely this freedom that makes each piece of furniture unique.
Step 2 – Initial ideas and measurements
You are welcome to visit our showroom to discuss ideas, but you can also email us with information about your wishes. A few photos of the space and a simple sketch are often enough to determine an initial direction.
To ensure that the cabinet fits perfectly, we will visit your home for precise measurements if necessary. We look not only at dimensions, but also at light, sightlines, and the relationship to the rest of the interior. This results in a design that truly becomes an integral part of the space.
Step 3 – From sketch to design
Based on your wishes and the measurements, our designers create sketches that are continuously refined. These are then developed into technical drawings in which all details are fixed: from dimensions to layout and finish. This gives you a clear and realistic picture of your future built-in cabinet.
Step 4 – Choosing materials and colors
One of the most enjoyable steps in the process: choosing materials and colors.
Will you go for a warm wood tone, a serene, hand-painted color, or a combination of both? Classic, modern, or something in between? We are happy to advise you on finishes that match your interior and the New Grange aesthetic.
Every choice contributes to the character of the furniture.
Step 5 – Realistic visualization
Once all choices have been made, we create a realistic computer rendering. This allows you to see beforehand how your cabinet will look in the chosen materials and colors. This provides peace of mind and certainty – and offers room for minor adjustments before production begins.
